Covid-19 Closure

The safety of my patients is my number one priority so I feel it is right to cease face-to-face consultaions for the time being.  This will be reveiwed regularly and in line with guidance from our regulatory body and professional association.  I will still be able to answer any queries you may have and will do my best to offer advice over the phone, so please call should you need to.


It is a scary time and we all feel a bit helpless, so the best thing you can do is to look after your health and ensure your immune system is working the best that it can.  With that in mind, here are my top tips:

  • Eat a balance diet - included lots of brightly coloured fruit and veg and good quality protein. Limit processed food and sugar.
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Keep your body moving - find an exercise class on-line, skip or dance!
  • Get some fresh air - open the windows or go for a walk if it is safe to do so.
  • Relax - try a daily meditation or breathing exercise.
  • Limit screen time and choose your news sources wisely.
  • Maintain a routine - get up, work and eat at regular times each day.
  • Every day try to :
      • do something that brings you joy eg reading, painting, dancing or singing
      • achieve something eg clean out the shed, try a new recipe, tackle a DIY task
      • connect to a friend or family member eg phone call, skype call, do a shared online activity


Please follow NHS and government guidelines and take good care of youself.
